Former NFL players N.D. Kalu and Greg Koch will debut their new KBME (790 AM) talk show, In the Trenches with Koch and Kalu, at 10 a.m. Monday, the station announced today.
In the Trenches will replace the fifth hour of The Big Show with Matt Jackson, Adam Wexler and Lance Zierlein, which will continue from 6 to 10 a.m. Dylan Gwinn will continue from 11 a.m. to noon, Matt Thomas from noon to 3 p.m. and Charlie Pallilo from 3 to 7 p.m.
“They have unique insights and will give our listeners a whole new perspective on games they already love,” said Bryan Erickson, Clear Channel Houston’s AM operations director.
Both worked as contributors on KILT (610 AM), but this will be their debut as lead men on their own show. Both have day jobs — Kalu in real estate, Koch as a lawyer.
